Questa ferrata si trova a Baveno nei pressi del campeggio Tranquilla, seguendo le indicazione che portano al monte Camoscio si arriva all'attacco, il nome della via 'Picasass' è stato scelto in onore di tutte quelle persone, i picasass appunto che fin dal '800 hanno lavorato all'estrazione e alla lavorazione del famoso granito rosa delle cave di Baveno. La ferrata offre lungo tutto l'itinerario un panorama eccezionale sul Lago Maggiore, le isole Borromee e sulle montagne che circondano il Lago stesso.
