Europe's heatwave wreaked havoc in the mountains this year, and our trip to the Swiss Alps to climb Aphubel was directly affected.
Our initial plan was to climb Dom, the highest mountain completely in Switzerland. After seeing what Dom's glacier looked like while on the summit of Nadelhorn, we decided against it.
