They say Caving is not for the faint-hearted… I’d have to agree! Most people know me as a climber, but today I became a caver, and had the most claustrophobic experience of my life! I wanted to experience the fear of being stuck underground, and whether doing some extreme caving would be a caving claustrophobia kill or cure. I watched plenty of caving horror stories such as, why everyone is wrong about dying in cave, and the mossdale caverns incident, which only intensified my curiosity! But in reality, I think this experience made me claustrophobic!
