7 DAYS, 7 COUNTRIES, 7 SUMMITS, 7 DYNAFIT FRIENDS

Climbing the seven summits of the alps in one week in speed mountaineering style.

Aljazev dome, Slovenia, 28 April 2013, 4.30am. The weather forecast for the Alps over the next seven days is up and down. But this doesn't stop the DYNAFIT Team's seven athletes setting off in pursuit of making their long-planned project a reality. They've christened it X7 -- seven countries, seven peaks in the fastest time possible by fair means, in other words taking on ascent and descent using muscle power only. Their specific goal is to climb the highest mountain in each of the Alpine countries within seven days by bike, on foot and on skis, each time going from the valley upward. The one-day tours for each peak will pose a real tough challenge for the intrepid athletes. On the week's menu for the speed ski mountaineers was a total of 18,000 vertical meters going up and 180 kilometers on the flat.
