Schorschs advices in a nutshell:
// Wear a layering system including a baselayer, a midlayer, an insulation and a wind protector. The function of the baselayer or you can also call it first layer is the moisture management, to transport the sweat to the outer side of the layer. The second layer is a midlayer and has the function of providing warmth. The insulation jacket is the third layer and includes material like down, primaloft or polartec alpha, depending on your personal preferences. The last layer is to protect you from wind, cold, snow or rain and includes a ventialtion system. At good weather conditions you normally use a softshell and on bad conditions a hardshell jacket.
