Let's start with saying something about the Sellarona Bike day. First, it's not a race . Twice a year (June and September) the famous Dolomites passes around the Sella massif (Gardena, Sella, Pordoi, and Campolongo) are closed for motorized vehicles so that only cyclists can enjoy this loop all by themselves. Over 15.000 cyclists of different types pedal during this day on the 60 km loop. It's a spectacle for the eyes but also for the ears as the only noise you hear is the deep breathing of the people riding up the passes.
