Opis:
We went deep into the earth and spent 8 hours in the Hölloch, on one of the longer tours that are only offered in winter from November to March. The name Hölloch translates as 'hell hole', but originates from the old Swiss-German dialect word 'hähl' which translates as 'slippery'. And it was certainly that! At more than 200 km explored caves, Hölloch is Europe's largest cave system. Climbing through it endless caverns was a great experience, though very strenuous, way more than a simple hike, since it involves bending every which way and wearing boots instead of hiking shoes.
