Opis:
Strenuous 7 hour hike on a steep alpine trail (marked blue because of some light climbing and possibly vertigo inducing places), 1640 height meters up and down. The bus only serves the Klöntal line until mid-October and early snow is always a risk, so I grabbed the chance of this beautiful autumn day to climb Vorder Glärnisch. 18 other people had the same idea, it's not too lonely a trail. It's also well maintained, with chains offering additional handholds on the exposed parts in the rocks, so it's one of the 'easier' alpine trails, unless you have vertigo, in which case you're in trouble. For sure you'll need plenty of stamina!
