At Lattice we are always looking to broaden our expertise, so coaches Ella Russell and Maddy Cope have been exploring the physiology of the menstrual cycle in sports performance (the subject matter is evolving fast!). This involves looking at how the hormonal fluctuations throughout the menstrual cycle may affect climbing, training adaptations, injury risk, and psychology.
