Vom Parkplatz auf der Forststraße geradeaus weiter dem Schild Feichteck / Hochries folgend. Bei einer ersten Verzweigung rechts, an der zweiten links. Nach etwa 10 Minuten trifft man auf eine dreifache Weggabelung (Schild Wagneralm). Hier wählt man die mittlere Möglichkeit, ein Karrenweg, welcher einen über ca. 40 Meter hinüber zum freien Hang der Wagneralm führt. Nun gibt es mehrere Aufstiegsmöglichkeiten:
