Ostrozac, the last Bosnian castle, according to some writings, was first time mentioned in the 13th century. It is located at a height of 206 meters above the river Una.

It was an impregnable fortress for a long time, the Ottoman Empire tried to conquer it on several occasions in 1538 and 1543, but without success. Only in 1579 did it fall into the hands of the powerful Ottoman Empire.
