Opis:
Almost Heaven Climbing Co. member Cam Kellar goes sport climbing at the Lower Meadow Area of the Meadow River Gorge. Located between the main New River Gorge climbing areas and Summersville Lake, the Meadow River Gorge is a sport climbers paradise. Lower Meadow is home to New River test pieces such as Toxic Hueco, Puppy Chow, Might Dog, Mango Tango, as well as this route, Campground Sluts 5.10a. In this video climber, Cam Kellar, onsights the 5.10a on the Tan Wall of Lower Meadow. The first half of the route is easy with many ledges and great clipping positions, after pulling the two foot roof, the climbing becomes more pumpy while still slowing for great clipping positions. If you are looking for something a little harder you can climb the same route while staying left to climb DC Memorial Face 5.11c or push down to the Toxic Hueco Wall for the many 5.12's and more.
