Acclimatization is key for such an ambitious goal – 2 8,000ers in 7 days. Benedikt, Basti and Andrea did a lot of climbing and skiing the last days to get used to the high altitude. During their preparation they already climbed three times up to 7,000m and higher. Once even up to camp 3 on 7,300m. But in the high altitude they hit quite tough conditions with lots of snow, making climbing very exhausting.
