Opis:
Die Burgruine Hauenstein, auch Hanstein und im Volksmund auch Pflegerschloß genannt, ist die Ruine einer Höhenburg auf einem Ausläufer der Gleinalpe.
Die Geschichte der Burg reicht bis zum Ende des 12. Jahrhunderts bzw. Anfangs des 13. Jahrhunderts zurück und wurde diese zum Schutz des Handelsweges vom Kainachtal über die Gleinalpe ins obere Murtal errichtet.
