Opis:
I shot this video the summer of 2020 while climbing many of the peaks in the Ten Mile Range of the Colorado Rockies. A mountain range starting at the town of Frisco on I-70 and running south to the Continental Divided, also comprising the Breckenridge ski mountains. The video starts at Mayflower Gulch, an old mining area, climbs Drift peak, 13,800', then moves north along the spine to Atlantic Peak, turns west and dives into Mayflower Gulch. Then back up the Gulch, sees a cool old gondola mining operation then to Drift peak and cruises south along that spine to Wilson Peak. From there it jumps to Pacific Peak looking up its west ridge as it climbs to the summit and captures many epic panoramic views including the highest lake in North America, Pacific Tarn, at 13,300'. The drone then backs away from Pacific to the east framing Father Dyer Peak and the awesome ridge further east, one AWSOME ridge scramble! Then the video jumps to north to Peak 4 and cruises the technical portions of the spine north to Ten Mile Peak. I shot this portion of the video from the 'Dragon,' a rock formation and technical crux of the 'Ten Mile Traverse Route.' Most of the dji drone footage was shot at altitudes over 13,000' feet! All of these peaks and more were climbed during this production and are fully documented on my mountain climbing channel as we explore the, 'Adventure Zones,' of the Colorado Rockies and beyond.
