Howshaw Tor is high above Ladybower Reservoir in the Peak District. It's a small, north-facing outcrop that is 'strictly for those obsessed with solitude and picturesque esoterica'.

A few years ago, Jon Fullwood put in the effort of cleaning up this fantastic little crag which is now a great summer gritstone bouldering destination. There isn't a vast number of problems, but all are of good quality and well worth the trip. All you need now is a breath of breeze to keep the midges away...
