Boulder Chokes are formed by a cave roof collapsing completing blocking a passage. Cavers will always attempt to find a route through a choke by carefully, very carefully, removing boulders. If a route can be found it is likely to involve squeezing and bodily contortions. They are not places for claustrophobic or salad-dodgers.
