Una cliente di 8K Expeditions Katya Lipka, una russa che ha aperto la bandiera ucraina in cima all'Everest, si è vista rifiutare il suo certificato di vetta. Il Nepal potrebbe anche vietarle di entrare nel Paese per diversi anni. Lipka ha condiviso le sue foto del vertice su Instagram e ha chiesto a Putin di porre fine alla guerra. Sulla cima dell'Everest, Tutto ciò che è straordinario richiede un'autorizzazione preventiva. Sfortunatamente per Lipka, quando il suo post è diventato virale, ha raggiunto i membri del parlamento del Nepal, controllato dal Partito Comunista del Paese.
