Ich bin gegen 7 Uhr wach, wir bleiben heute aber bis 8 Uhr liegen. Auch heute machen wir unser Frühstück wieder selbst. Kurz nach 9 Uhr fahren wir los. 10.15 Uhr sind wir abmarschbereit am Trailhead und laufen los. Unser heutiges Ziel ist der Rockbound Lake. Es geht zunächst auf einem gemütlichen Weg durch den Wald, über ein paar Serpentinen gewinnen wir an Höhe. Der Wald wird lichter und wir sehen mehr und mehr von den uns umgebenen Felswänden. Nach knapp 6,4 km führt ein kleiner Pfad zu einer Aussicht auf den Silverton Creek unter uns.
