Situé dans le massif du Mont Blanc, le 2° sommet de Savoie offre un parcours superbe sur le Glacier des Glaciers aux séracs impressionnants et un très beau panorama sur le Glacier de Tré la Tête, les Dômes de Miage, Bionassay et le Mont Blanc. L'escalade rocheuse finale étant dangereuse, le point culminant de cette sortie se situe à 3710 m, au-dessus du Dôme de Neige.
