The Boston series of running shoes has been a mainstay of the Adidas running line since 1984, but last year's Adizero Boston 10 blew up expectations with a complete overhaul of the midsole. The changes left a lot of folks wondering what Adidas was doing with the Boston. This year, Adidas released the Adizero Boston 11 with the same midsole as the 10 but a completely new upper, and it feels like the Boston may be back on track to be a lot of folks' go-to speed shoe.
