T2 hike through the beautiful terrain between the Muverans and Les Diablerets mountain ranges. Originally intended as 2 day tour, it turned into 3 when strong rain and sudden, cascading waterfalls off les Diablerets kept us in Anzeindaz for a night. Day 1: Steep climb from Pont de Nant to Cabane de Plan Névé, 3 hours, incredible view and sun set, very nice mountain hut guardians, good food and friendly atmosphere. Day 2: Descent from Plan Névé to La Vare, then over Col des Essets to Anzeindaz. Very nice rooms and food. Day 3: Crossing the plateau next to Les Diablerets and descend steeply to Lac de Derborance. Watch the bus schedule, there are only a few busses a day. Incredible bus ride down to the valley floor, along an abyss and through hand-hewn tunnels. I once heard somebody describe this bus route as most difficult to drive in Switzerland, and I can well believe it.
