Opis:
Sintra is a tourist city located in the foothills of the Sintra mountains, near Lisbon, the capital of Portugal. The city's forested terrain, which was long a royal sanctuary, is filled with pastel-colored villas and palaces. The Sintra National Palace, in Arabic and Manueline style, is distinguished by its large twin fireplaces and elaborate tiles. The Pena National Palace, built in the 19th century on top of a hill, is known for its whimsical design and the expansive views it offers.
