This video demonstrates how to set up a 'Complex 5:1' with a Petzl Reverso. The word 'complex' in this context does not mean it's complicated- it simply refers to the fact that the 2:1 pulley was incorporated *inside* the 3:1 to add up to a 5:1. If the 2:1 was on the outside, it would be a 'compound' pulley and would create a 6:1. (note: we will post other videos that will explain these fundamental concepts soon.
