Questo piccolo e grazioso villaggio alpino tedesco (8.500 abitanti), che si trova ai piedi dei monti del Karwendel e a pochi km da Garmisch e dal confine con l’Austria, è rinomato per le sue belle case affrescate e per una particolarità che deriva dall’antica arte italiana della liuteria.
